Did you know Your Protein Drinks Can be Covered By Your Insurance?

Recommended Posts

Hello please help, I'm very concerned! - Has anyone had a successful relationship with this company? I'm waiting for my Dr. to sign off on the prescription !

How long does it take to receive your products once the company receives your script? Are the Vitamins ok in taste and of sufficient nutrition value?? And does this $5 K scar cream I'm reading about really work?

Thank you for your help.

I've had *MANY* members PM me that they've had very good results using InsureNutrition. The key is to have patience and definitely stay on top of them and your doc.

It bothers me that the insurance company is being billed $5000 for it. That's outrageous. Those costs come back to the insured in the form of higher premiums. This sounds like the scooter folks who are now serving time for insurance fraud. I'm out.

I have heard that quite thrown around here but my insurance receipts didn't say that. They said around $127 and my insurance had their "contracted rate" and so only paid less than half that.

That said, I didn't find the cream worthwhile

I finally was able to get the online request to go through and it generated an email form letter back...says we can also help with scar cream....I will opt out of this though...I have had two other laparoscopic surgeries and no scar cream can completely help and those scars are almost completely faded on their own anyway. If I can get the Vitamins and Protein paid for by insurance I will be more than happy.

Does anyone know if Medicare covers any Protein Drinks etc or do they assume everyone should have surgery under 65 ?

At first I wan't even going to try because I figured my insurance (Tricare) wouldn't cover it, but I said what the heck. It was just a few minutes of my time and the worst that could happen is that they say no and I've only lost a few minutes of time.

My shipment is on it's way! I get the Protein, chewable Vitamins (insurance didn't cover liquid) and scar cream.

Thank you Insure Nutrition!!!

Ok how are you doing this? I’m also tricare...

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
