Hi everyone!
I have been lurking around many WLS sites for months, this is my first time posting.
I'm having the Roux n Y bypass on March 12th. I can't believe how close it is! I'm getting nervous, but I'm far more excited than I am nervous.
A little about me...I'm 37 single mom of a 12yr old boy and 2yr old girl. I have struggled with my weight pretty much since I can remember. However it has really spiraled out of control these last 10 years. I'm 5'2 and a 1/2 (lol) and 270lbs.
I'm looking forward to a much more active lifestyle, I have a long list of "first's" to complete. Most importantly I want to be a better example to my children, as well as be able to physically enjoy time with them outdoors etc..
