Depressed I have not lost weight in 1 1/2 week since surgery.

I am so depressed because I have not lost weight in 1 1/2 weeks and still can not get food down, I know they say up you calories but I can barely get calories in less water, sometime I feel this was a waste of time. :(

In most cases , sleeves hit a plateau at the same time u r hitting yours.. Just be patient and the scale will move.. Try to drink more water ,that will help. Your body is adjusting ...

I feel the same way have not lost a pound in 1 week. 2 weeks out and I am following the diet plan.

I posted something similar. 12 days post op, not losing either, actually gained 2 pounds.

The reality is, I am not eating enough to possibly gain weight... so I'm sure you are not either. Hormones are changing and our bodies are freaking, I'm sure it is Water retention. I suspect I need to start my period, but I'm super irregular so who knows.

Give it a month and try not to think about it too much. Focus on being healthy and feeling good. Meeting your Dr.'s nutritional goals and let your body have some time to adapt.

It will work...just have the patience to work it.

Same here. 3 wks post op as of today and the scale hasn't moved in a week. I've lost 30lbs (including the weight on liquid diet prior to surgery). I need to drink more and get my protein shakes in. I have no appetite and have to remember to eat just to eat. IT's ery disouraging but I hear it's normal and just keep at it and the scale will move again. Hang in there
