Mine was a test a ridiculous retarded 567 question, color in the circle with a number 2 pencil test (that was the exact number of questions 567!!)

Questions like "Have you ever wished you were a forest ranger".

When I had my mine, their main concern was transfer addictions. They don't want people to replace the food and the feelings with alcohol, drugs, sex, or gambling, all that sorts. It wasn't as bad as I thought either, the cost however wasn't covered by insurance and cost me $400. The end result will be worth it though. You will do just fine at your eval ????

Mine was the same 567 question and fill in the bubbles plus questions on the computer about the same stuff was a piece of cake

Just curious. Im not sure that I have to take that kind of test, but when there are so many questions (like 567!!) did you find yourself answering what you thought they wanted you to answer, or were the questions so obscure that you couldn't even tell what the proper answer was??

I did not have a questionnaire. It was more just a one-on-one talk. She wanted to make sure my expectations were realistic, that my bipolar disorder was stable and that I was informed about everything that happens.

be honest..... its a psych test.... they throw in questions on purpose to see if you are lying for instance

"if someone at work told you a dirty joke, would you laugh"... I said yes... cause I would. Does that mean I will be a sex addict post op...no! LOL Stupid a## test.

Some evaluations use the testing tool and others are more like a psychological assessment.

You have to answer truthfully, if you don't they can tell -- the test has this built in (essentially they ask some questions several different ways). It's nothing to worry about, just be honest. :)

Interesting to see how different everyone's Psych eval's were. I met with the psychologist and we talked for about an hour, then he set me in front of a computer to take a 400 question test. Before he left me to take the test, he told me that he was going to recommend to my team that I have surgery and told me he believed I was going to do well. And, he said something pretty profound, "We just don't want to give our clients a tool, that they might hurt themselves with." Anyway, good luck today!!!

I feel really fortunate that my "test" was only 136 questions. Fill in the bubble kind, but not 567!

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
