Feb 11 surgery...nervous and excited! Buddies?

Hello All,

I am getting my sleeve Feb 11 at 9 am! I have been lurking here for months, and I have learned so much! I want to say thanks to everyone for sharing and being so open and honest. I was hoping to reach out to someone who has a similar surgery date, or anyone who maybe wants to keep in touch and support each other in what seems to be a potentially difficult first few weeks. I am so proud to be able to soon sit on the loser's bench...

Side question: I have a runny nose, itchy throat, no cough or fever. It came on Friday night and doesn't seem to be getting worse. Mucus is clear (sorry if TMI)...they wouldn't cancel for this, do you think!

Thanks for reading!

How are the 2/11 sleevers doing? I hope all is as well as can be!!

Feeling much better. Starting to get the head hunger thing going on. I haven't lost a pound since my 1 week checkup. I know it's normal, but frustrated. This to shall pass. I was so glad to get my staples out and sleeping is much easier now. Taking it each day.

You and me both with the head hunger. And you and me both with the little stall. Two more days until my staples are out. That must feel better to be without them.

You've got a good attitude, one day at a time. That's all we can do, right?
