I have BCBS FEDERAL

Are you sure your going to be denied? Is that what your NUT said? Don't worry yet, get back on track and move forward. It may just mean waiting another month or two, but don't get discouraged. Think positive Boo..............

Be encouraged when I first weighed in I was at 232. At my 1st nutritional visit I was at 236. I asked the same question and boy was I scared. I have Aetna and she just told me be sure not gain anymore weight. I have my 2nd nutritional visit on Wednesday and I am praying that I have not gained anything by there scales. U should be ok. Check with the insurance company and see what your limits are. Good Luck

I have bcbs federal (standard option) and had my surgery July 2013. I lost initially during the preop stage but then gained a few pounds of it back. I did not have any problems with approval. I lost during my 2 week liquid diet. My surgeon's office told me if I gained during that stage they may extend the liquid diet. Good luck with your journey.
