Lost interest in food and it tastes different too!

Ever since having surgery, it seems as though I have lost interest in food! Very rarely do I crave anything. I eat good food, but about 3/4 of the way through eating I just flat out lose interest! Also, I find that some foods taste different to me than before surgery.

Has anyone else experienced this?

How long has it been since you were sleeved....are you still losing weight eventhough your not eating as much...I am hoping to have my sleeve done in early April

Yes.. My obsession for food is mostly gone. I too start to eat and along the way with eating my 4 oz foods,.. I stop cause I am not hungry and start hiccuping . I can go many hours without feeling hungry or thinking that I need to eat. I do eat my 3 meals and two snacks to get my 800 calorie and 65 grams of protein. But enjoying it..that surely has lessened . And glad that I am that way now.

It's been 3.5 months since I've been sleeved.. Still eating the way I'm supposed to, getting all my protein in. I used to enjoy food so much and now I'm no longer obsessed with it. It's actually a good thing. I used to be a major carb addict. Now I barely eat bread or carbs!

That would be my dream scenario.
