Papaya Enzyme - anyone use or heard of it?

Hi I was wondering if anyone has used or heard of Papaya Enzyme?

I am 3 weeks post op and I have been nauseous ever since I started on Protein shakes. I have tried several brands of the protein but all have affected me the same way and I can only force myself to get about 4 to 6 oz in and I am supposed to be getting 8 to 11 oz every 4 hours. So I went to the Vitamin Shop today and talk to them and they recommend when I drink a Protein shake I take a Papaya Enzyme it is used to help break down the protein and it should help with the nausea. So I bought some and I am going to try it tomorrow.

I would ask your surgeon before taking that. I am sure it is fine... Just err on the side of caution. Hope you feel better soon.

I was taking it when I first got sleeved just to help with digestion. I had issues with acid reflux but in about a month everything stopped and quit taking it. But you may want to ask your doctor.

I took it years ago when I first started having trouble with digestion....Before and after meals.....It worked for a while but since I never changed any habits back then I soon moved on to more powerful medicine to control the pain.....ratz......

If I knew then what I know now eh!!!!!!!!!!
