Good evening everyone!

Merry Christmas to one and all.

My HW-252

SW-246

Date of Surgery- 2-12-14 weighed in at 232

CW-133

I am 5'3.5

I used to wear between a 26-28

I now wear a size 4 and at 49 years old I'll take it!

This journey has been no less than amazing. I was given a tool to use and I've been doing exactly what they've told me to do. I have ditched all my diabetes meds-4 insulin shots a day, metformin, byetta, glipizide, levoxyl, lisinopril, and aspirin, My blood pressure is running at 100/70 most days. My last HbA1c was just the first month off all meds back in July and it was 5.9. Next one will be at the end of January. Can't wait to see where that is.

My life with the sleeve has been great-I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I won't lie and say it's been easy. It hasn't. But it's been about making the right choices and sticking to it.

Have a Happy New Year!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
