almost 3 months out. just found out I have a kidney stone. anyone less

So im 3 months out and just found out I have a kidney stone...... even though my surgeon says My stone is totally unrelated, he told me to stop taking my calcium. So now I just take the gallbladder medication and 2 multivitamin each day. Im so nervous about this kidney stone. I guess its just in my kidney, just sitting there. I have no pain from it yet. They found it on an xray that I had because ever since surgery ive had pain in my right groin area. So now I have a ct scan tomorrow to see why I have pain in my right groin. Should I be taking more that just 2 multivitamins each day. Im always feeling headaches and just unbalanced.. any advice welcomed!!!!!!

I am a year out and I have 3 small stones. They think I had 2 other that have passed. Like you I really hasn't had much pain. Drink lots of water, it will help them pass. Make sure you get your B-12 in everyday.

oh ouch! I hope you get well soon.

If your not having pain from the stone they usually aren't a big deal and docs don't do anything..... Unless it actually becomes painful.

This is NOT medical advice just personal experience:

Chanca piedra (also sold as "stone breaker") can really help. You should be able to find it at any whole foods type store (or I order mine online). It is natural and has been used for a very long time (basically a digestive bitter).

Thanks all for your replies. I had my ctr scan today and I saw my stone in my kidney. I guess since I dont have any pain from it they say I shouldn't worry about it. But thats harder said then done. I really wish I never learned about my stone. I feel like I have a little ticking time bomb inside me. I am not looking forward to the day it wants to come out!! Thank you again!!

6 months later they found a kidney stone
