Today is the heaviest I will ever be for the rest of my life!

Hi! Newbie here. I'm scheduled for a VSG on 3.28.14 and have 40 pounds to lose before my surgery to get my BMI down to 49. I am 330 pounds today. That's a lot of pounds. However, today I started my diet and will exercise when I get home. I will never be this heavy again. My journey is beginning - and I'm grateful to be surrounded by all the support. Thanks - just had to get that out there....

I am new here and just ran across the title of your post. I love it. This us what I tell myself almost everyday. No matter what- ill never be as heavy as I was when I started- I'll never feel like that again. For me-- it's not about perfection- just going better today that I did yesterday and knowing that I'll never have to go back to the day I heard/saw that highest number. Good luck on your journey- I'll be thinking of u and sending positive vibes your way!

Starting this thread was just what I needed to get myself out there and put a different spun on how I see things. I just flew from Seattle to Chicago like I do every two months for work and thought to myself: it's only a little but I feel better in this seat than I did the last time. And the next one I'll feel even better!
