6mths since surgery no loss in 3 mths

My surgery was July 11 in mx. The first 2 to 3 mths were great. I lost 41lbs. Went from a size 26 to an 18. I've had no weightloss in 3 months. Calories are typically at 1000. I know I need to get more Protein in and workout but I feel like the scale is never going to move again. 6mths out I'm worried I've lost my prime opportunity to lose weight. I was a previous Lapbander and that wasn't successful due to complications.

???? just feeling like I've now had two weightloss surgeries and I'm still obese!!!

Anyone still lose a decent amount of weight after 6mths?

Yes, I lost about 40% of my excess after 6 months. Working out was primary in my program along with good nutrition, rest, and Water.

You can do it!

Thanks for the reply!! Its encouraging to know it's possible!!

I had the sleeve done July 29,13 I starfed out at 266 , on day of surgery I was 242, today when I carried my husband to the Dr I weighed 198. Don't give up keep going making good choices and drinking your Water and exercise. The weight will start coming off again.

I lost quite a bit of weight after 2 years out! It can be done. The first 6 months are the easiest, but don't give up, the sleeve will still work for you later on. I still feel restriction if I do protein first and add a couple of 16 hour "fasts" a week. (eat a early dinner one day, and eat a late lunch the next day causing a 16 hour fast) this helps me to feel the restriction in my sleeve better.
