Has anyone tried the cottage cheese test?

Has anyone tried the cottage cheese test to see how much your pouch will hold before you're full?

If so, what were the results?

Thanks Lx

This site says do it within 5 minutes so that no food (if you can count cottage cheese as food) has time to leave the stomach.

It also says that basically you're ok as long as the amount the pouch will hold is less than 9 ounces. Jeez, don't you hear so many different things with this bypass malarky?

Hi Misty! No, I've never done the test. I've never had any reason to suspect that there was a problem with the pouch. My weight has been steady since I hit 155 and that's over a year now.

6 weeks out and I am only to have no more than 4 ozs! ( 1/2 cup ) which is fine with me... Anymore than that ..I am not feeling great!

That is an interesting article! I will try using this to get my water in. I'm trying to wrap my head around all that is required intake wise. Getting the vitamins in twice daily, calcium, B12, water and protein, just have to get a flow going I guess. Ugh! ;)
