My surgery was in Nov 8th. And from my HW 330 now I am down to 259. I love my sleeve and this has been the best decision I have made. My only downfall is that right now I am between sizes. Urgh

Well I had my ankle surgery on Monday, 2/3, and good news it was a lot of damaged tissue causing my problems not damaged ligaments. The surgeon was able to remove the tissue and he said my recovery should go quickly from here. Physical Therapy starts on Monday and I will only be out of work for two weeks, total. Since they had told me to expect a month of no weight bearing, aka no walking, this was all a great relief. I am hoping to be able to begin working out in the next few weeks even if that is being able to start on a treadmill!

My weight loss has continued and I have been very conscientious about what I am eating, I am down to 252, although iv fluids from surgery I went back to 254, but I think that will be off by this weekend. The pain has actually had me so nauseated that I have only been able to eat about half of what we normally can so as you can imagine this has been very little! (1/4 of package of oatmeal, 2 1/2 meatballs... these are meals!) Thank goodness I still have Protein Shakes to fall back on as I am back to two of these a day to keep up my intake. Last night I did manage to eat 2 1/2 oz of ground sirloin with 1/2 oz of low fat cheddar but could barely move after!

Please be careful when comparing yourself to others, we are each different and as long as you are steady in your weight loss and following our new way of life, you are on the right road! I have started packing up clothes that I can no longer wear because they literally fall off. I stood up the other day and my pants almost fell completely off, it was awesome. Some of my shirts I can't wear because they fall off my shoulders or expose my bra! I am lucky that in storage I have bins of clothes in sizes down to 16-18 so I went and picked out a whole new wardrobe. The hospital I had my surgery also has a clothing exchange for their bariatric patients so I am bring them everything I can't wear so others can use it on their exciting adventure. It is so awesome to put some of these clothes that I haven't been able to wear in years back on, thank goodness trends come full circle!!!

sleeved 11-18 down 42lbs since surgery. I had my gallbladder out on 12-27. I am nowwalking 25-40 daily and weight/resistance every other day. I have 4 mini meals (MEAT #1 priority),and 2 -30gram Protein Shakes (vanilla Premier Protein from costco) every day plus all my Vitamins. I suck at getting my Water in but do try. I am about 1/2 cup volume of food fitting in my sleeve, I love Lucern Greek Mouse! 10 grams Protein in 4.5 ounces-the chocolate. the carmel, raspbery and strawberry only have 9g protein. My nut says yes it is worthy and it is 1 of my meals every day. I also like weight control instant oatmeal from quaker and add a tablespoon on crunchy peanutbutter although i usually cant eat it all, Two turkey sausage patties and a swallow of applesauce is a typical meal or 1 slice lunchmeat with 1/2 cheese stick and 2 snap peas.

Surgery was 11/11/13 (13 weeks ago). I'm down 41 pounds since surgery day to 165 and my body fat percentage has decreased from roughly 41% to 32% today.

Working hard to retain my lean body mass (muscle) and thankfully it's working.

Glad things are going well for everyone!

The weight has been coming off slower now. Just have to put my head down and keep sleeping on.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
