Any February 2014 Sleevers?

Sarah, I had beef broth today (made from beef bouillon granules) and I used some garlic pepper in it from a grinder and it was amazing. And I normally do chicken all the time, but I was getting sick of it and this was salty/savory and a nice change.

Awesome. I'll get some tomorrow when I go out for more Greek yogurt. (I need to just buy a million of them. Haha. ) Thanks! And garlic pepper? Where do I find this magic seasoning? ;)

You're welcome! Hope you like it! My magic seasoning is a McCormick brand garlic pepper seasoning grinder. I think I got it at Jewel or Target. I'll try to take a pic for ya. :)

I have found garlic pepper at Vons (Safeway) and albertsons. Mine is also McCormick and its a green label.

I think Albertson's is the same as Jewel. :) I took a pic of both of them.

Oh. You have the grinder. I read that and forgot to add mine is pre-ground. The fresh grind is so much butter. Hope she finds that one!

Thanks guys!! I will be on the hunt tomorrow! I did just have a can of Campbells 97% far free vegetable beef Soup. It was delicious and bland all at the same time! Haha. I strained about half the stuff that's in it, out. It was pretty mushy so I let myself eat a little of it, just chewed it til it was the.mushiest of mush.

The soup definitely helped the "I'm over fruity flavored stuff" I've had going on.

I understand! I ate a can of bean with bacon soup. Didn't eat even half of the stuff in it. But I was dying for something savory.

What brand? Light or of that "healthy" variety?? I could get down with bacon, even if it's just a "flavor." I ate a can if Campbell's heart healthy chix corn chowder last night. I did take out a few if the chunks but it was so mushy I just mushed it with my tongue. Lol. I was told as long as there weren't big chunks.... Hahaha. There weren't. After I smoooooshed em. But it was soooooooo bland. Booooo.

Ok y'all pre-op peoples!!!! Y'all gotta play around with different seasonings. Also don't forget Swanson has those infused broths like chicken tortilla, hot &sour and another one whose name I can't recall. I'm just hangin in there on day 4 and I'm not "hungry". Just feel "empty". Ugh

It was the regular campbells. I know that's bad. Everything else I have eaten is fat-free, sugar-free and low fat. I just needed a bit of flavor! And I took half the can out and immediately refrigerated the other half, then mixed it with Water and removed some of the Beans. It was incredibly satisfying. Lol.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
