Ok all. I was a little frustrated with this discussion board. I felt no one really cared about me. But being 3 1/2 weeks out I'm a overly emotional. So I apologize.

Now I need real help. I've been stuck/fluctuating 4 oz for 6 days. I'm angry and frustrated. I feel defeated and like surgery was a waste of my time. I'm not getting all my Protein or my Water in. I do walk 45 minutes a day. Don't know if I will today. I wasn't feeling so great yesterday. So am not loosing because I'm not getting all my water & protein in. Yes I need to get rid of caloric drinks and I'm doing my best with that. But when I eat or drink it still isn't that much. What is going on??? Please help!!!!

I have slowed way down tooo for the last 2 weeks. Had a period for the first time in a year or more this week. So. I'm sure that had something to do with it. I am just thinking that my body is catching up to what I just did to it. I am 5 weeks out now

I'm not feeling do hot either. But here is my full disclosure. I've been drinking caloric juices. I feel really bad about myself. I can't expect to change my horrible habits so quickly. For those of you that pray I could use all prayers I can get.

Yes, the sleeve definitely isn't a miracle pill, we are all still works in progress. I find myself making poor choices sometimes...I just gotta move on and get back in track. :) i do drink apple juice still, I just drink less of it and mix it with Water to dilute it. Half cup of water with half cup of juice and it still tastes good to me.

I've been at the same exact weight for over a week. But I'm losing inches. I've not reached my liquid goal even once. Trying hard today, though.

I will be 5 wks out Monday- been getting an average of 50 -60 grams of protein a day and an average of 6-7 glasses of water. Some days I get in 8 glasses of water but not all my protein, some days I get in 70-90 grams of protein but not all my water. It's definitely work to do it! I really have to think about it constantly!

Ditto- I have lost a pound finally after 2 weeks, but what I really noticed was inches lost. I could wear pants that didn't zip up 2 weeks ago! Yahoo!!!

I've been drinking Syntrax Nectar Lemon Tea with Crystal light peach mango tea mixed with it. It's very good. I mix both in 20 oz of Water. So i get Protein AND water in that way.

Just a suggestion!

I've been stuck for 10 days! I don't get all of my water and protein in every day and haven't started walking consistently yet. I've not had too many problems with pain and have not vomited. Still on full liquids until Wednesday. Only 18lbs down from surgery 3/25. I'm not overly exhausted, but I do get tired easily. I am frustrated that I have stalled and frustrated that I have not been released to do heavier workouts. I was doing Insanity 3-4 days a week preop. I am starting Protein Shakes tomorrow (have been using Isopure clear liquid for protein). Hopefully that and dedication to water intake will kick this stall. I guess I just wanted to say, you are not alone. I've heard several people talk about their stalls about this time postop. We can do it, and we will reach our goals with hard work. Keep your head up!

PS- I drink Poweraide Zero and sugar free Popsicles when I get bored/tired of water. I hope this helps!

More calories? Can you really break the stall by increasing calories?

Yeah these stalls really suck. I don't think it's any one thing that you do to make it happen. Don't be to hard on yourself for not drinking enough water/protein or walking long enough or drinking a high caloric drink whatever it may be. I think everybody's body just goes through this whether it be starvation mode or just the fact we are now at the eating food stage. Everything I've read and everybody I talked to says to hang in there. So that is what we have to do. Sure we need to get that work out/walk in and we have to get our Protein in, but if we mess up a day or two I think it will be ok. I myself have been at a stall for over a week. I finally hid the scale and seem to be more at ease.

Hi all- I am also in the dreaded stall. Been a week at the same weight. I just keep telling myself that it will move eventually; no way we can eat this little and it not drop, right?? I am 6 weeks out and find the further away I get from surgery date, the less vigilant I am about following the rules perfectly. These boards and home groups and buddies are important to keep each other connected to the process.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
