LindsayHeth I am exactly where you are, but am afraid to weigh myself ! I am afraid no weight loss will discourage me.

So, I am hoping my body is not letting me down.

Dignity! Don't be afraid! If anything just weigh and see where you are and what you need to do! We got this! Please keep me updated!

My first week of liquids I dropped 7 pounds really fast. The second week I stayed the same. But I did well on the diet. My doctor was more than fine with my results. You will be okay. Just stick to the diet. It goes slow and fast at the same time. Before you know it you will be in surgery!

It's all down hill from there ladies, I am on my last 12 hours and I am down 20lbs in 15 days from the liquids. So tomorrow morning is D day. Stay strong in the end it will be worth it. Cheers to you both you can do it. Prays are with you both.

Prayers to you tomorrow! Let us know how you're doing ASAP. I know it took me almost 24 hours before I was conscious enough to update. Lol.

LindseyHeth I will weigh myself in the a.m. Dread......Except for the first day of diarrhea, I have not had a bowel movement. Is this normal? Maybe I should get some metamucil tomorrow. Regardless, I am sure the- day- before-surgery Miralax bowel prep kit will take care of any residual constipation..lol!

Lol! I have noticed that many people have to do a week or more of liquids. I am only on a very low calorie diet, so I am having BMs. Not sure if that is normal for you. A couple of Dulcolax capsules should help ease the Constipation.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
