It has been a while since I have checked in because my loss has come to screeching halt

I hve been losing/gaining the same 2-3lbs for almost 1 month - anyone else having this problem?

It's been awhile sine I have posted but I am so excited. I went to the beach last weekend and it's been a LONG LONG since I felt good about myself. Health and physical wise, I feel great.

SW 214 size 18-20

CW 166 size 10 I never thought being a size 10 would ever be possible ...

Like you, I keep losing and gaining the same 2 lbs for the entire month of May. It's really frustrating. Hope the weight loss hasn't stopped.

This is happening to me as well I can't stay out of 170. One day I'm 168 and they I'm back to 170. I think my body is comfortable with that number.

Same here, it's been a month since I have really lost any weight. I know inches are dropping but the pounds are staying at the same really. I'm so happy to know I'm not by myself, this must be one of the stages you go through while losing weight.

Signed up with Lifetime Fitness yesterday to begin working out doing some cardio, Water aerobics and strength training. Hoping to really start seeing the ponds fall off. Down 1.8 this week!

HW: 297 (12/16/2013)

SW: 283.6 (12/23/2013)

CW: 220. 6

Total lbs. loss from HW: 76.4

Total lbs. loss since SW: 63

      Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
