Help! Peanut Butter Is The Devil!

Recommended Posts

I also love Peanut Butter & have it on a fairly regular basis. I would also recommend the to go cups for Portion Control. I have found Jif Whips to be way more satisfying (think whipped butter compared to stick butter), it has less calories for the same amount & since it is creamier should pose no band issues.

Newbie here..... Just banded on Monday. I tried contacting my Dr office with this question with no response on Friday. I am currently on full liquids and allowed yogurt. Since I can't stomach plain yogurt I was wondering if I can add PB2 or natural Peanut Butter to the yogurt. Suggestions?

Adding cinnamon and vanilla with splenda is really good. Just need to be careful with the pb as it may stick. Good luck!

Oh gosh I can relate. It is the one thing I can't seem to give up at night. I try to stick to a smear on a cracker biscuit each night and have tried replacing it with ricotta but isn't the same. So I give myself the permission given I am so strict about what else I eat

I like to add PB to my morning smoothie....goes good with chocolate and a 1/2 banana...

I have many shake recipes and PB plays a big part in many of them....

Go through a lot of PB in our house...good Protein when added with 100% whey....

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
