Yesterday, after calling my insurance company, I got my approval! The insurance rep said their was a date of service (11/20) on it. Does that mean anything?

I haven't heard back from the surgeons yet , so I thought I would ask all of you.

I would call the surgeons office to ask. That date could mean anything but I doubt the surgery because you would need to be on the reduction diet.

Congratulations on your approval! I had this happen with my approval also. My coordinator explained that they just needed to put a place holder date on the paperwork and that the approval was valid for 6 months. Good luck!!
