what kind of tests will they do?

I have my pre admission testing today and im just wondering what tests will i have to do? 8 days til surgery!

I think it will depend on what you've had done leading up to surgery. An EKG just has to be within the last 6 months (in my case). My pre-op testing only consisted of bloodwork/vitals. The day of surgery they did a rapid pregnancy test. That was it.

They took my blood, that was it. I know that they could do chest xray and EKG if deemed necessary. It wasn't. I had already had an EKG.

I had bloodwork (CBC, BMP, H pylori) and a chest X-ray and EKG.
