Banded on 2/15 I'm new!

Hello fellow bandsters! I am a newbie, banded in Mass. I'm really not that computer smart, but I'd really like to share my band experience with others. I've got about 80lbs to lose and hope that this will do the trick.

Hi Julie, All I have to say is use the pain button before you need it,bring the nurses goodies they'll treat you kindly,When you get home get up and get moving to get rid of gas.Other than that, dont worry, and go for it!

Jillcrowe,

You and I were banded on the same day and we have the same amount of weight to lose. I also used to live in Boston, right across the street from Mass General.

It took about a week before I was up and running but I feel much better now. Just a little tenderness around the port site.

Good luck to you on your journey.
