Stomach pain, like getting punched in the stomach...

I'm 14 days post op. I have an appointment with my surgeon on Friday, but the last couple days I've had a new pain. It feels like it's my stomach, and sleeping is really difficult since it isn't in the center and no matter how I lay it's irritated. It's tender to touch too. My incisions are pain free, but I'm concerned this could be a sign of a leak and I don't know if I should wait for my appointment or if it's just my stomach healing...

I'm only taking my pain meds at night now, but they don't seem to help.

Anyone else experienced this?

Hi Molly. Sorry you are not feeling well. I would not hesitate to call the doctor's office.

Call your doctor.

I am with the rest.... call your Dr. Better to be safe than sorry! I hope you feel better soon!

Well folks I ended up tearing a stitch. It's an extra stitch my surgeon out in to help prevent hernias, but since I'm young and don't have a lot if risk factors my surgeon said it wasn't necessary to go in and repair it...so or now I'm just sore sore sore :)
