girl i'm the same way. i'm a month post op tomorrow. i feel hungry all the time lol. Usually waht i do i just drink a core power light (coca-cola's new protein drink) and i don't get hungry again for a few hours.

Are you taking an acid reducer? Acid will mimic hunger and doesn't go away even after you eat. I take an acid reducer 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. Many of us need this to reduce the acid. Talk to your doctor about it if you are not taking one. It makes a huge difference!

i take 40mg prilosec every morn.

I take a prescription Pepcid morning and evening (still at 2 years and 9 months). What I would do when I got that feeling after eating is to take a GASX dissolving strip or chewable tablet, then drink something warm (cup of broth or tea). Seemed to make it go away. Once I was healed from the surgery, I tried not to eat more frequently than 4 hours. I would drink broth in the interim or other non calorie fluids.

If I am really bothered by acid or reflux, I supplement the Pepcid with Prilosec morning, evening or both.

i DONT don t know THE exact ARTICLE(GOOGLE IT) BUT i READ EARLY ON THAT needing fluids can cause hunger pain. If you ate and start geting the signals try drinking water 1st. see if that helps.

I'm hungry all the time! I take 40mg of protonix daily..., I just eat every 3 hours small amounts....I really think about the vitamins, I dont know, sometimes I feel that they are my "problem" <_< .....I have 5 weeks out!

Some acid reducers work better for some and not others. Many people have to change them up to get a better result.
