I can finally eat chicken!

Never thought I would be so thrilled to eat chicken.

I am 2 weeks post op. Moved to soft diet but have already been eating egg whites for a couple of days. I asked my doctor if I can eat the chicken in chicken noodle Soup and he said it was fine as long as chopped moist and chew it really small like the chicken in the soup.

Yayyyyy

Woohoo!

Chicken was one of the hardest things for my stomach to tolerate after surgery. I thought it was kinda ironic that processed foods were so easy to digest, but my stomach had to adjust to the healthy stuff.

Pre surgery I basically only ate chicken for meat. Tried it. Not so bad

That's awesome. I look forward to chicken too.
