Anyone use a Health Rider for exercise?

My mom just gave me one and I just wondered if it was any good.

Did it help you lose and tone?

How is it best used?

I had read it made your fore arms sore and didn't give a good workout, but it seems like it would.

Thanks for your replies!!!

I had one of those a few years ago! I sold it after I realized I was only using it to hang my clothes on it!

I enjoyed it. I could watch TV and exercise....back up or increase the resisitance according to my needs.

It never gave me sore arms....just toned ones. It was a great way to aerobically burn calories, and I wish I still had it.

Go for it! Any exercise is good exercise as long as you don't experience any pain. Maybe I'll try to find myself another one.......

It's been so long ago I don't remember a lot....the legs yes. I don't recall anything happening to the abs. It was pre-band and I was eating low-fat meals (less than 20grams fat/day.) I managed to lose weight with it and long walks.

Nothing really counts pre-band. I did get wobbly legs but that's about all I can remember.
