Insurance reimbursment(SP)

I was just wondering if insurance companies will reimburse you if you pay cash for the lap band, and then filed a claim? I don't want to have to pay cash, that is the reason I have insurance, that I very seldom use.

I have not heard of it happening, but I would imagine if it were approved, you might be able to. But they look for any reason whatsoever to deny it, so it seems pretty chancy to me. I would try to get the approval prior if you need insurance to cover it.
