I just wanted to share a recipe that my husband and I did this week. He kept telling me that he had tried "Lettuce Wraps" a long time ago and liked them and we should try to make some. So we went to Sam's Club and picked up groceries and got the things we needed to make them. They turned out so good! I really like them and it's only 150 calories per wrap. If one is not filling enough for you (It is for me right now) then you can eat a second one and still get filled up on 300 calories! I added avocado the first time I made them and it was really good. That's not part of the recipe so you'd have to add the calories for that.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

That looks delicious. Shame that lettuce sends me running to the toilet :(

Hmmmm, I just tried it and it worked for me. Is anyone else having a problem with the link?

I went back to MyFitnessPal and did some research. Here is what I found when I searched for this problem in the Help database:

"Currently the "full-fledged" recipe sharing isn't a live feature on MFP..

what you CAN do is create the recipe in your account, log a serving of the recipe to your food diary, make sure your food diary is visible to friends and you're friends with the family you want to access it...

they come view YOUR diary from THEIR account and click "quick tools > copy to today" on the website.

On the iOS and Android apps you click the wrench / spanner in the header with the meal name > copy to today."

So, my user name there is the same as here "PhotoLover8". I made sure that my profile is visible to "everyone" so no one has problems looking at it. I hope this helps! Sorry, I didn't know this was an issue before I posted it.

And just in case that doesn't work either or it's too much trouble, here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

- 1 lb of Lean Ground Beef or Ground Turkey

- 1 Large Green Pepper

- 1 Large Red Pepper

- Laughing Cow Light Swiss cheese Wedges

- Extra Virgin Olive Oil

- Romaine Lettuce Hearts

Instructions:

- Cook your pound of lean beef or turkey and season to taste.

- Cut both large peppers into 10ths and saute in a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.

- Take a romaine lettuce leaf and cut off about an inch of the harder part of the leaf (it doesn't fold well and your food will fall out.)

- Open your laughing cow light swiss cheese wedge and spread it in the center of the romaine leaf.

- Add 2 oz of your cooked meat

- Add 1 strip of each of the peppers

- Eat up!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
