Help! Scheduled for Gastric Sleeve Plication in July 2013.

I am scheduled to have a gastric sleeve plication at the same time I have a Nissen Fundoplication on July 30, 2013. The surgeries will be done by Dr. Michael Tyner of Cary Surgical Associates in Cary, NC.

I would like to learn from those of you who have had the gastric sleeve plication; or, the Nissen Fundoplication; or, both surgeries. And if your Dr. is Dr. Tyner, that would be even better information for me.

I have read elsewhere of some of the potential complications as a result of these surgeries so if there are any of you who have had good experiences, or bad experiences, I would love to hear from you.

Your feedback is going to be important in my making the final decision to proceed with the surgery or surgeries.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.
