Have they found the Boxes Jesus was buried in?

Recommended Posts

IF they found matching DNA on from both aritcles, It probably would come from the tester, or it could be DNA from pollen or plant fibers etc, Remember that all DNA on the entire earth varries by not more than 3 percent so they would have to have several and I mean several samples that need to match the human genome script, letter for letter, this is not very likely, but I do like to entertain all kinds of "what if" scenarios, thats what makes life interesting, and that kind of questioning is what leads to learning.

I read that someone believes that humans decended from monkies because our DNA varies by only two percent, Well Duh, That kind of difference is HUGE! All human DNA varies within a margin, if I remember corectly by less than .05 percent, if by that much. Ill try to find the correct percent so I wont be spouting anything that would start a debate, I would never would want that!! lol this is fun

Actually, that is not true. NO ONE believes that humans are descended from apes. The theory is that both apes and humans had the same ancestor. Apes went one way and human ancestors went the other. We are NOT descended from apes. That's one of the so-called "theories" that evolutionists are accused of all the time, and anyone who knows anything about evolution knows that the so-called "monkey-theory" isn't a theory that's accepted by ANY evolutionist with real credentials.

You forget that scientists can tell the difference between plant and animal DNA. Heck, many plants and animals have had their entire genome mapped by this point. You can be assured that the DNA of a plant isn't going to be mistaken for the DNA of a person.

And to say that the DNA found on the items would be from the tester.... Well, all I can say is that's on par with some of the great conspiracy theories.

After reading some of the things on Ron's website, me thinks he is confounded that his expectations of coming to LBT and taking over from the inferior females have been dashed, so rather than admit defeat at the hands (or words) of the inferior gender, he takes it out on a member of his own gender.

He calls me an old man, but is older than I am. He calls me a Communist, a Socialist, a liberal, a liberal Christian, a traitor, an America hater, a BuSh hater and a worshiper of an imperfect god. Well, at least I can say that Ron thinks I am well rounded.

A socialist and a communist at the same time? That's pretty impressive!

.....you would be surprised at the intensity of the debate on another board, between those using 'regular motor oil' and those advocating 'synthetic motor oil'....

No one can tell me I can "choose" to be straight. Believe me, I have tried.

Sunta...some people DO understand. I had a friend (now deceased) whose daughter married her high school sweetheart. Everyone thought they were "made for each other". They had a child. Their lives were wonderful - except that he was gay, and always had been. He finally could not live the lie any longer, nor was he willing to sneak around and cheat. They are divorced now, but remain friends. It's a tragedy for all concerned.

I have only know a handfull of gay people well, and every one of them had experienced some kind of emotional trauma growing up or as young adults. I don't know if that is universal, but it's what I personally am aware of.

It is not universal at all. I for one was not molested, raped, abused, or otherwise traumatized in childhood (as many claiming to be "ex-Gays" claim they were). In fact I had a pretty happy and normal childhood. And alot of people go through huge trauma and are straight.

All the misinformation flying around out there is so disheartening to me.

As for the ex-Gays, sure, anyone can force themselves to abstain from any kind of sexual behavior. But for a Gay person, being married to someone of the opposite gender will never bring them the same kind of sexual and emotional fulfillment as being with someone of their gender. It's easy to close one's eyes and deaden your true sexuality. I know because I did it for ten years. But when they are reminded, by that new person they meet or just by letting their mind wander to days of old, their feelings come rushing back. I feel very sorry for these people and I understand their struggle because I'm living it every single day.

I just wish their wasn't so much ignorance about homosexuality. I really think if people were better informed Gays would already be allowed to marry.

No one can tell me I can "choose" to be straight. Believe me, I have tried. I have looked at pictures of gorgeous men and I have tried to feel what I feel when I look at a woman. It's just impossible. I'm married to an extremely handsome man for heaven's sake. But let me tell you, it's just simply not the same. I am never going to feel the same when I touch a man's skin as when I touch a woman's skin. I'm never going to feel that same sense of complete fulfillment when I hold a man as when I hold a woman. If I could choose differently, I would.

Now I am being very disclosive and I hope that in doing so, I can make people at least become open to the possibility that being Gay is not a choice. It's not a choice for me and it's not a choice for millions of other people. Perhaps for some it is a choice, but for the majority of people I can say with 100% certainty that it is not. Believe me, please believe me. If you had ever seen the tears upon tears upon tears my husband and I have cried, you yourself would know I am right.

I am always baffled as to how any straight person can think that being Gay is a choice. I am going to speak graphically here, so anyone who is prudish, please stop reading now.

When I was 11 years old, I was talking to the prettiest girl in my class and all of a sudden, I realized that my penis was rubbing the inside of my pants and trying to push its way through. No one had ever told me about that physical reaction. This was 1956. This was before video tapes. We had only had TV for a few years in my home and the shows were not realistic (sexually) and movies were all "goodie-2 shoes" types. I had no idea what was going on. I never had the choice to be Gay.

Ask any straight person when he decided to be straight. If he (or she) is honest, they will have to admit that they never did. It just happened to them, just as it just happens to Gay people.

Moreover, could any of you straight people become gay thru counseling? I doubt many have tried, but I know a number of gay people who wasted a lot of time and money trying to do so, because they very much wanted to feel like a "normal" human being. Who on God's green earth would CHOOSE to be part of a persecuted minority? That just makes no sense.

TOM: Talk about your challenges!

Carlene: Yup. Just makes no sense. I'm not doubting that some people can choose to sleep with a same-sex partner, but it sure makes sense that true homosexuals are born that way, not because they made choice to be Gay.

A neighbor of mine has been married twice. Tried and tried to be "normal" and please her family. She's is self-employed and has a very conservative practice. She realized what she had been fighting all those years and now has a female partner whom she loves dearly. They consider themselves to be married in the eyes of God. However for all of her happiness and contentment with her partner and in her private life, she has to pretend they are just roommates in public. Her parents would disown her because of their religious beliefs and she would be asked to move her practice. My heart aches for them every time I think of them.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
