Just to chime in! I am not on here as much as I would like but I try to pop in and update and post. I am 4 months out and my surgery went fine. My restriction is still very good but I have stalled at about 60 pounds of weight loss. I started at 295 and I am now about 233. My food choices have not been great so I have no one to blame but me and I have not been working out like I should. I feel fantastic and that is how it used to be when I would loose weight. I would feel good start eating bad foods and gain the weight back. Luckily I have not gained anything back but if I want to reach my goal I must get back on a good diet. I will probably get a lot more serious after the holidays. It is a MUST for me to hit my goal by 1 year. Good luck to you!

So do you feel "hungry" like

You used to or is it more of a mind thing? Or not bad if you eat more times, or get your Protein in? Are you supposed to stay away from

Carbonated things? What are some

Of your favs for liquid/ mushy stage?

If anyone is interested my surgeon will be doing a promo for the plication until Dec.31st to help everyone reach their weight loss goals for the new year. He is doing it for $3800.00 I paid that much for my surgery when he ran a promo for gastric sleeve. The doctors information is.. drsergioquinones.emarketteam.com this is UNDER CONSTRUCTION right now and will be changing domain addresse, but is current for now the email is: iprice@drsergioquinones.com, 8778688057 or 6192187433 is the direct number to the coordinator. Maybe this can help some of you get surgery even sooner. HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
