Through The Hospital Or Through An Agency?

Hi Everyone,

I'm getting ready to book my surgery. After much research, I've decided to go with Dr. Ortiz through OCC. For others of you that had your surgery with Dr. Ortiz, did you book your surgery directly through him or did you have an outside agency book it for you? It seems you can get the surgery cheaper if you go through an agency, but I'm not sure if you can pick your own dr or if Dr. Ortiz would even be an option. Experiences, please?

There are 2 (I believe) coordinators Carolyn was mine. She was excellent...answered all my questions whenever I had one. (She also had surgeries as well!) She is actually located in Florida. I have never heard of getting cheeper rates from other people within OCC. Also, I believe Dr. Otriz for the most part does all the operations. He is wonderful, as Is his whole staff. Hope that helps. Im here if you need me. good luck!!

PS I love my restriction..It is my secret tool...my secret friend!! 41 pounds off since pre-op the first of April!
