Whey protein shots

Hi ladies. I have a quick question. Has anyone tried those whey protein shots? They look like those 5 hour energy shots but a longer tube. It says it has 42g of protein and I'm wondering if I could just drink that to make sure I get all my protein in then drinking all the shakes? I'm so confused about my liquid pre op diet..I've got jello, broth and shakes but idk if that is all im limited too for the next 2 weeks. Also, how is the time determined. Some only have to do 1 week or 3 day liquid before surgery and not the 2 week?

Thanks guys! My mom got me a bag of muscle tech 100%whey protein isolate powder in chocolate. It has 30grams of protien per scoop. It's pretty good. Just needs to be super super cold. Day 3 of this liquid diet seems like I've been on it longer lol. Hardest thing I did today was go to the grocery store to get food for my son. Hard to cook for other people and not eat or taste any of it yourself.

Being mom is tough thru this process but you will be able to eat and taste again soon, make this part of your family lifestyle once you do, search for recipes and foods that you and your son will like so you dont feel deprived and he will learn healthy habits also and maybe avoid being overweight himself one day :)

That's my goal! He is such a picky eater. It frustrates me sometimes that he won't even taste something because of the way it looks. He doesn't even like ice cream that isn't chocolate or vanilla!
