pain in stomach through to back

Im 11 post op and doing fine till tonight. I had a taco and felt fine till about hour after. I have this brick in my stomach pain and pressure. Its been 4 hours and its not going away. It gets worse if I eat or drink water. I don't know if it's trapped gas or if I somehow damaged my stomach. Its located mid back through lower ribs.

I would call the doc, better safe than sorry! Hope ur better soon!! :)

My surgeon had me on liquid diet for like two weeks then a mush diet for another two weeks. Maybe the solid food 11 days post op was way too much for your stomach to handle at this point.

I know that this is a late reply , but this just happened to me. Later when I went to bed, laid on my stomach, I started burping and the pain started to go away. Hope this helps others who might go through this pain.. It IS pretty bad.
