Day 2 of 14 days of Pre-op diet

I couldn't understand when people were on their pre-op diet they kept saying, no more sweet, they wanted something savory and now I completely understand. The Protein shakes are sooo sweet it makes you crave savory.

My doctors pre-op diet allows me to eat Jello (sugar-free), whipped topping (sugar-free), carrots, cucumbers so I am eating those items along with the Protein Shakes and tons of Water.

I just drank half a jar of pickle juice, because I didn't want anything else sweet. Man this in only day 2 of 14.

Your lucky you got some solid food in your pre-op! The sweet thing was so hard to handle. If you bought chocolate or sweet protein shakes for post op, run out quick and try to find something lemony or pineappley.
