soreness in legs 8 days post op

My legs are sore, im not in pain, its not a big sore feeling but I can tell its there, Is this normal? I havent been able to walk as much as ive wanted to, just around my hiuse, gone to the park a couple times and im scared of blood clots, but would blood clots be in both legs

My legs were sore then too... Both legs... Weird... My surgeon made me get an venous ultra sound for blood clots ... Thankfully they weren't but it's better to be safe then sorry!

There's a lot going on that could cause muscle/leg aches. Decreased mobility, decreased Water, decreased nutrients, etc. that said I do recommend calling your surgeon. You did just have major surgery and blood clots are one of the risks associated with it. It's probably not that, but if it is then it's an emergency situation and needs to be addressed immediately (and yes you can get clots in booth legs, it's not as common but is possible).

are they swollen or discolored....I had a clot, and my leg was huge and discolored....dont hesitate if they are, call your surgeon.! good luck...

No not swollen or discolored, just sore, i have a dr appointment in the 5th, should i wait until then or try to get an earlier appointment
