4 days post op gastric bypass and hungry

Well I am doing great so far since my gastric bypass surgery on August 8th. But today I am wishing I could eat regular foods already. All I can have right now are water, sugar free non fizzy drinks & sugar free Popsicles/jello and broth. *sigh* :-/ I can't wait to move to the next phase. I never thought I would be looking forward to eating cream of wheat.

On a positive I feel more like myself today. I still have pain but it's bearable. I am struggling with head hunger and physical. When I am alone I don't think about it but if someone is eating, I really wish I could have a taste. So I think it's head hunger.

But I am so sick of Clear liquids so many it is physical hunger. Hopefully Friday he says I can move to full liquids.

I found this two inspirational quotes today and think they are appropriate for me today.....

"Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I'M POSSIBLE!!!"

"No one said it was going to be easy, but it will definitely be worth it"

It is hard to tell head from physical hunger sometimes...thanks for sharing the quotes they are very appropriate!!
