3 days post op and a large hard swelling?

I have 4 incisions, but the one is large swollen area above it and It is hard...has anyone had a hematoma? Im not sure what it is but cant figure why only one area is like this..large swollen hard and painful..no coloration...thanks

I had swelling on my incisions too and read it was normal. It is scar tissue forming as the incisions heal. One incision had a very large hard bump that was tender as well. It does go away but I would definitely call your surgeon in the am just to run it by him.

I had swelling as well and was very concerned. Took my doc to remind me. That the larger incision is where they have to cut some through your muscle wall and the only incision where you have internal stitches. It took 4 weeks till I was comfortable with his answer. Take your time healing. It helped me when I laid on my side to prop a pillow. Praying for a speedy recovery.
