Nasty seperation

Recommended Posts

He has been like this for a while. Last night is when the devil inside him came out. He deny my kids saying find the "fathers of your kids"! This time it was in front of his adult son. Idk where I got the strength from but I did a karate kick on him twice. I know I should never put my hands on anyone. I got so up set. I punch him smacked him & was choking him. For a moment I lost it then all the sudden I thought of my kids & if I kill him I won't see my kids again so I came back to reality. I didn't know I'm able to harm someone. I let the best of me take over & I'm glad I'm not doing time in jail.

He is accusing me of even sleeping with my daughter "virgin" boyfriend. I'm not afraid of him but he is getting me up set & I'm just waiting for the day housing finds me a place to live so I can move my mom with me & if I'm not getting SSD yet I can try to find any job to support my kids.

Definitely time to get out. Due to circumstances, you may be able to move up on the housing list.

Section 8 is closed for everyone but once I'm in with housing I have a better chance of getting on the section 8 waiting list.

Just a tip but subsidized housing in non urban areas are a good route to getting housing much faster. For instance, I live in Newark NJ and its hard to find housing here, the subsidized lists take forever and the sec 8 list is closed but when I lived with my dad just 60 miles away in Phillipsburg NJ and applied for housing, they offered me an apt less than 6 months later. So look into subsidy housing further away. It may be out of your comfort zone as far as location but it's worth it and a change of scenery may be what you need to start off fresh and stress free.

I also have been following you since I've joined. I can't say this how I wished things ended, but I'm so happy the balls moving and the end is closer than ever before.

I wish you all the best in this transition. Be strong not only for yourself but for your kids.

Look into counseling for yourself and your 16 year old daughter.

Prayers defiantly your way.

You just go to whatever city's housing authority office and apply for housing. Some have online applications but most are in person. Although if you call, perhaps they can mail you one. Remember to stick to small towns and google that town's name plus "housing authority".

Hello everyone,

I contacted housing & I did the application on line in June 2013. They put me on a waiting list. I called to see what's going on & I'm still on the waiting list & they should be sending me a letter next next in June. I called them personally requesting an application for section 8 and was told I should go in person & explain to them my situation so they can put me on a waiting list. Well a year of waiting wont kill me so I will wait. I'm no longer worried about my bills. Why? It's almost paid & what's not paid I will pay off once I'm on my own cuz as long as I'm here hubby will pay them. So I'm not putting surgery on hold like I was thinking. I'm getting surgery so I'm having my cake & eating it to"sugar free that is lmbo" so I will be happy & I have basically two kids to raise & I will be fine :)

Hello again :) I can't move things faster unless god forbid hubby puts his hands on me which won't happen "he isn't a women beater" so this are smoothly at the moment. He approach me today saying he loves me & I haven't heard those words in a long time. I do love him & he is the father of my kids but I can't continue living here once I get my own place. I don't want to hurt him by being here cuz I feel we (my self & kids) make him miserable so it's best we go our separate ways. If he gives me problem child support will be after him not me. I don't want him poisoning the kids with lie about me. I don't want his money & I care less if he see the kids or not. I don't want his money. I want to take care of my kids by my self with the government help no father in there life. I want to be single sexy happy & to give my kids the best life & travel with them cuz if my plan works I should be getting SSD my kids already gets SSI and my mom will live with me so if I get a job off the book she's there to watch the kids. So I can make it even if I didn't have my mom. I sure don't need a man lmbo I been doing it alone raising kids so why not pay my own bills also?

P.s. was thinking after I do me "plastic surgery" have left over start paying my bills or at least part of it to help lower the payments what will he have to say since he enjoys throwing the "I pay your bills or all the bills weekly"

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
