Hair loss

I'm about 5 months out and having trouble keeping food in, and my hair is really starting to thin. Taking the highest dose of Biotin I can..any recommendations? Double the Biotin? Special shampoo? I'm really getting embarrassed with everyone noticing :(

How much biotin do you take? Also how much protein? Do you massage your scalp?

U have to make sure ur eating enough protein everyday. Talk with your doc. Best Wishes

I'm so sorry to hear the problem with your hair, I too am loosing mine by the fist fills, but I thought mine was do to my RA injection I have to get once a month, (it's also used as a chemo drug), the only thing I can think of is what most folks are saying make sure your eating enough protein, I don't know what Biotin is I assume it's a multi vitamin, you should definitely call your Dr's office & talk to someone, I been using shampoo that thickens your hair Sauave puts out a line, it seems to help,at least it doesn't look as thin. Good luck! Peace, Mary

Has anyone tried Rogaine?

  • 3 weeks later...

But I'm noticing hair loss and I'm thin on top to start. I haven't been taking my calcium. But going to try it again.

If you find something that helps post it. Going to talk to my hair dresser next week.
