hoping to have the surgery - please advise!!!!!!

I live on Long Island, NY and i am going to a seminar in March about lap band. My weight has been an ongoing battle for 30 years and I want it to stop. I have been yoyoing and that is the worst. If anyone from Long Island can give me advice on doctors, please do!! I am considering Dr. Collin Brathwaite at the moment. Congratulations to all of you doing well. It gives me hope and inspiration. I am 230 lbs. at 5'5 and need to lose a lot of weight. Good luck to all on the weight loss/maintenance journey.:)
