I had a big milestone today...I have officially lost 101 lbs since surgery! That makes 140 lbs from my highest weight!

Life is really starting to fall in place for me and I am happier than I've ever been. I hope everyone is having the same positive results from surgery, and not just in weight lost, but in all our non-scale victories too!

Heck yea! life is sweeter than any treat i can think of. Congratulations on the scale victory but more so on the off scale victories.....you rock!

Have a great day :-)

Hi, June 19th SW 203 CW 138 I was stalled forever! I log everything. I finally tried the 2 days of Protein Shakes only and lost 2 lbs over night. Trying to get to 125. I'm 5'1. XXL and 18/20 sizes to M and 6/8 pants depending on brand. Ignore my bedroom mess! I buy new clothes weekly and throw out stuff daily! It's never clean! Lol

My personal goal is 135, I'm at 156 now, you look amazing...I'm in a size 8 now, my goal is a size 6...wow, I'm discussing sizes, coming from a size 18/20. Thank you Jesus.

I couldn't agree with you more!! I have three pounds to go until I hit 100 pounds since surgery. When I hit, it will be 139 pound weight loss since April. I said in my Christmas letter this year that for the first time I really feel like I have the tools to make this work. That feeling is SO liberating!!

Reading all these posts makes me nervous for my 6 month appointment next week. Don't get me wrong... I feel great! I am nervous that my surgeon may say I haven't lost enough. Everyone on this June group seems to have lost so much more than I have. I am around 70 pounds lost. Should I be at 100 already? Again... So nervous!

Hi All,

I had my 6 mo appt last Thursday at Carolinas Weight Management in Charlotte, NC! I have lost 60lbs since my surgery on 6/10/13. While that isn't as much as I would have liked, I am pleased. I've hit a plateau...again...but that's OK. I still make incremental drops. I figure if I keep it slow and steady, I'll win the race regardless. :laughs: Since I made the decision in January, as of today, I have lost 92.2lbs. I'll take it!

To quote Grandpa Duck.. I'm Happy, Happy, Happy!

ttfn,

Rhyz

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
