Wanted to clean my whole apartment. Got my pantry and most of my kitchen done and my belly feels like I did a million sit ups. I still have so much to do. Ugh!

Yes I am. I can't stand them but I do take them every day... I feel like they make up a meal on their own. Lol

I took RJ's advice and broke up my morning Protein Shake into two and I've added a third for when I'm driving home from work in the morning. So I'm getting a minimum of 65g just from shakes. I was also only eating once a day and have been trying to make it twice a day plus three shakes and 2 or 3 just water/hydration breaks while at work. Moral of the story..lol upped my Protein and Water and I feel better! Thanks everyone for the advice.

I am only allowing myself to weigh once a week. For the Friday weigh in thread. That's it. It's hard but I don't want to be taunted with the numbers game. I'm really struggling with exercise. It's 100+ degrees so I haven't been walking my babies. I have a treadmill that got buried by my ex during my surgery. Must find another way to work out!

Find a mall, they are air conditioned and lots of walking , for no charge

I stalled at week 2 for a full week.

I too seem to have stalled this week (Week 2). I hope it doesn't last long!

June 24 here! I was in the hospital for 6 days due to staph infected hematomas. I had three and my surgeon had never seen anyone with more than one! I'm still on strong antibiotics, but already on regular food. I had nothing in the hospital so I guess my pouch healed quicker. I was doing really well with food until today. I ate something stupid (Pop Chips) and am pretty sure I'm having my first case of dumping. It's mild - mainly just nausea and rapid heart rate.

I have most of my problems with liquids. Before surgery, I loved Water, Vitamin Water, Crystal Light...now I can't drink any of it. The only liquid I can drink that doesn't make me nauseous is tea! Weird!

Anyway, though I had some complications and am sick as a dog right now :), this is the best decision of my life. I've lost 27 lbs since I left the hospital and other than today, some off and on nausea, and pain from my incisions, I feel great. Well worth it. :)

I too think I hit a stall. I am 2 weeks so I think it is pretty normal so I am not stressing too much. It is hard for me to tell though because I am traveling and away from my scale.

I found Healthy Choice fudge pops at costco. They are delish!! They have 100 calories, 1.5 fat, 4 Protein and 16 carbs. That's 3 over what my NUT wants me to have, but they have 5 Fiber, and only 5 actual sugars, so I am going with it and being thankful that they have 4 protein!

Went for my 4 week follow up appt today. Down 24 pounds which is great but I've only lost 4 in the past 2 weeks. Why is it we have to beat ourselves up so much? Surgeon is happy but we're watching for stricture because I seem to have solid food "catch" too often, or maybe I'm eating too fast even though I don't think I am. HW 247.5, CW 221.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
