Stretching of opening

I am post-op april 10. on May 16 was told that the opening to my pouch is about the size of a coffee stir straw and on tomorrow may 21 am going in to have it stretched. my question is to any post-op person that has had this done have you ever had to have it redone? Does it stay open?

I just had this done this morning at 7:45. Dr. said he stretched it about 4mm. Expecting it to end up being around 10-11mm once all healed up. No discomfort at all but hoping I do not have to do it again.

I was told that typically it needs to be done 2-3 times. I had to have it done twice.

Thank you wasn't to bad considering they gave me versad which after it was over I didn't remember anything from the point of being fitted with the mouth piece so I didn't bite down.
