Unjury where have you been the last week?

I just got my samples from Unjury yesterday and all I can say is why didn't I order them sooner? I ordered the Syntrax Nectar samples and can't stomach them. But I've tried the chicken soup last night and couldn't taste anything!! Just mixed up a Strawberry Sorbet with a Lemonade Crystal Light and same thing! Can't taste a thing!!!

I like unjury unflavored too. Frozen strawberry, banana a splash of OJ and I'm in heaven. I use a lot of diff frozen fruits. Mango, peach..whatever.

My favorite is the chicken soup as chicken broth was something I used alot post op those first few weeks. I also really like the strawberry kiwi nectar from Syntrax. Thank goodness there are many protein drinks out there because we all are a little different...

Im 5 days Pre-Op. I bought the bin of unjury chicken broth and a sample of the unflavored....

I have been drinking the chkn one fairly regularly the past 2 weeks (I'm on the liver reduction diet and also trying to keep my protien up) but today I FINALLY tried the natural one. I only used 1/2 in hot-ish tea. BLEH DID NOT LIKE - I did drink it, but it had a smell to it and a taste. In a way, it reminded me of the chkn soup one, though that one I can tolerate IF I don't smell it as I mix it.....

Sounds silly but I found in both cases, if I mixed it well in my mug, then I poured it into a different mug, I didn't get that funky smell in my nose. I will admit, it is a very minimal smell, but still smell it.

I still have 1/2 sample pack of the unflavored - any suggestions of what to try it in??

Are you getting it too hot? It says the texture will change over 140 degrees. I think I got the chicken soup too hot today as it clumped real bad. I have one of the shaker cups with the wisk ball, and I mix in that and pour into another cup.

You can't over heat the water for the chicken soup or it will clump and be no good. I put my microwave little pan in for 1 1/2 minutes and it is under 140 works great.

You can put unflavored in anything, yogurt, Jello, soup, potato...

In the past, when I have mixed powder into these things, specifically the jello & yogurt, they get way to think and gross. The soup sounds like great idea though!
