New to the site but ready for my life to change!

Im new to the site....getting really anxious! I see my surgeon Thu 4/11 for my final presurgery visit & blood gases checked! Surgery date will be set Thursday!! Been going thru counseling program with Value Options for the last year and had my psych eval done!! There is light at the end of a 33 year long tunnel!! Was born with a congenital kidney disease and was on steroids for years as a child so I've been overweight ALL MY LIFE! Im so ready for a normal, healthy, active life to keep up with my 11 year old son!! He's my drive to have my surgery!!

Welcome to the forum! I am pretty new here myself but this has been a great source of info and support. I am 33 and heading to surgery on 4/15. Can't wait!!! Good luck on your journey! :-)
