I fit in the hairdressers chair with room to spare!

I can't wait to get my hair done. I haven't been able to find a decent hairdresser in my area in about 10 years. My sister in law is also on the hunt for one in Boston so I think once she finds one there I'll take the trip up to see hers. I've decided to bob my hair for the fall/winter. And it'll help if I start to lose it. Can't wait!!!

I weigh the same as I did on my wedding day! People are finally noticing my weight loss and it feels great! I beginning to be able to eat a little more normally! Yay! How do you put in a before and after pic?

I do mine on my phone but when you hit a reply there should be a little plus sign up at the top of your screen hit that and it should say image or pics and you can ad them there.

I got yelled at by coworkers for referring to myself as the fat girl (we had a huge bag of candy, someone went after what I was about to grab and I said something like 'never take candy out of the fat girls hand, she'll kick your butt!', it was all in fun). I've never not been the fat girl though! This is cool!!!

Today 3 different clients told me I'm getting too skinny and I could afford to put a little meat back on my bones. I've never been told that in my life!!

My neighbor told me yesterday that her teenage son asked her what was up with me lately- wearing my hair straight, and why was I so skinny? I seriously wanted to run over and swing that kid around. I am still far from thin, but no one EVER has referred to me as skinny, and I loved hearing that!

Also, at work the other night one of the nurses came over to me and said, "wow, you have boobs". Finally the stomach is tucked in further than the boobs.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
