RNY and hiatal hernia repair

Hi everyone

I had my egd this week and was told I have a hiatal hernia that will be repaired at the same time. My surgeon said it would add 20 to 30 minutes to the surgery. Has anyone had this and has it affected your recovery? Thanks

Yup and truly it's so minor in comparison to the RNY I don't think it has a huge I pact.
