zWulf My Story so Far!

Hi Everyone,

I am 6 weeks post op and have lost 60 lbs total this is count the 10lbs I lost before the surgery, Dr Miller was my Dr. he is a great man and loved his care before and after my surgery! That said for whatever reason I had the worst recovery that I could think could ever happen not from anything he did! I woke up with server back spasms that last for over two weeks this was the most painful part of the whole thing I had such a hard time with it that I had to take the max amount of Pain meds every 4 hours!!! Needless to say after the pain left I stopped taking pain meds and for two weeks after I still could smell and taste them, I hope I never have to have them ever again!!! I was scared to eat anything but yogurt for 4 weeks until I returned to work, I have slowly started to add foods back in like chicken strips and eggs, I am drinking my Vegs in V8 juice I can’t stand the smell of taste of them right now? Don’t know if this is normal or not? I went out to dinner and ordered Breakfast two eggs and a Ham Steak I have eaten 6 meals from that one dinner LOL in the past I would have eaten it and them half of whatever my wife was having! Ya things change right now I am scared that I will go back to my old ways of eating and want to make sure this never happens I keep hearing the stories of those that have failed!!! I can’t be one of them that is the first reason that I joined this site! Any help or ideas would be great!!!

Sincerely

Doug
