Gassy after Atkins shakes

Hi I'm 5 days post my RNY (1/29/13) and trying to incorporate more then water & clear liquids but my Atkins shakes seem to make me gassy.... After a few oz ;(. I've read that ppl become lactose intolerant after Surg....I'm sipping not gulping, so is this a symptom? How it feels? Any suggestions?

I had surgery on 1-23 and the gas is normal. Your body had extra Gas and its trying I move it through your system. I had a lot of gas or pressure until I had my first bowel movement. Try a different shake to see if you have better luck but has is totally normal.
